WEEK 12

TITLE: Final Year Project Presentation Semester 1

OBJECTIVE:

To give an explanation to student and lecturer about this project

DISCUSSION/ANALYSIS:

On 12/04/2012 FYP presentation for Semester 1 had been held at BMI. I also involved in this presentation. My assessors were Mr. Ahmad Sabri Bin Mohamad and Miss Pusparini Binti Abdul Aziz. It begin with the registration by student from 12 to 2 p.m. At 2.30 p.m all the assessors start to evaluate the student. Luckily for me, both of my assessors come early and they assess me at my place, in front of TTL 2 which had been set by the FYP community.

The first assessor that assess me was Mr. Ahmad Sabri. I explain to him about what my project is about. I am very glad that he can understand my explanation. Next was the Q and A. He ask more detail about my project. I think I had answer all the questions that asked by him correctly. Mr. Sabri also give a suggestion about my project. He suggested that why not borrowed the BLDC motor from BMI laboratory when doing testing and demonstration next semester instead renting the BLDC motor from the shop. It can save the cost of my project.

The second assessor was Miss Pusparini. I also explain to her about what my project is about. At this time, I become more confident as I had done this with my first assessors. During the Q and A, she had asked me about what is difference between BLDC motor and synchronous motor. I tell her that the difference is BLDC motor use a DC power supply while the synchronous motor use an AC power supply.

CONCLUSION:
From this presentation, I had known how to improve my project and also how to cut the budget. This assessment also teach me how to communicate with people. From this assessment also, I get to know what the strength and the weaknesses of my project.
